We uses Japanese Selvedge raw denim, which is made on shuttle looms; a weaving textile loom that utilises a mechanism called a shuttle to pass the yarns back and forth between both sides of the loom to produce tightly woven strips of heavy fabric. Our selvedge jeans are typically made with unwashed denim fabric. While Japanese denim jeans might differ from one pair to the next, the country’s foremost brands are best known for two things: selvedge denim and raw denim.
